Mantle Animation


One of the things that I postponed for a long time was mantle animation. We finally got someone to create a mantle animation for us! But there was one thing that was weird about how it was exported/created. The mantle animation was specifically made for a First Person's POV from a specific camera angle, which made it difficult to get working unless some camera tricks/adjustments were made while the animation was playing.

Since the animation was made to break the body of the robot and reattach it back, it was producing weird looks in the game.  So to fix the problem I started to adjust the camera to angles where the player would not know what is happening behind the scenes of the animation.  Here is the code and the final preview, I am still going to go back and polish it:
