Finalization of Gameplay
Author: Ethan Ortega
As the final week of production is underway the team and I have not encountered issues that were overbearingly challenging. The biggest portion of the time came from fine-tuning and adjusting different parts of gameplay to make it feel smooth and complete. Personally, I worked with level 2 and made the puzzle interactions feel better by adding audio aspects. Each puzzle and its components now have at least one sound when accomplishing their events. This contributes to the overall feel of the game as the player understands there is something happening when he interacts with these objects and allows him to solve these puzzles efficiently. Slight-level tweaks where the team felt were needed and some UI improvements were also implemented to attempt to improve player experience. As the project came to a conclusion we heavily focused on player feedback as that was an aspect we always lacked and now we have finally reached a good point where all pieces are aligned.
